Sorry I've been away for a while, but I have been very busy w/ work (the pay-the-bills kind) and updating/refining my website. There is still much to go before it is completed, but it is progressing nicely and I would like to encourage you to visit and leave a comment or suggestion. Due to work duties, family, the recent economic recession & projects I am working on, I have not had much time to upload new art or browse dA like I have before. However, I am going to try to squeeze in at least a few hours a week (maybe a couple of hours twice-a-week...) to upload new art, keep in touch w/ friends and comment on their art. It's about time! Journal Update...

Sorry it's been a while, but I've been so busy and exhausted from work. Trying to do so much without a real vacation is a bummer, I tell you! On a side note, I sprained my ankle a bit on Saturday, September 6 while training for Recreation Kickball! Go figure! I'm getting better, but have to stay off my feet whenever I can.

I'll try to upload something new soon.Hope everyone has been well and thanks for your Adds, Faves & show of support always.

My website redesign is coming along fine. My webmasters are transfering the images to the new homepage and server and it should be up-and-running soon. Those of you who may visit my official website should know that it will be offline again for a few days until the new website is up in the coming week or so; maybe sooner. Your patience is appreciated.

Also, I have new works I am working on which I plan to post. I apologize if I haven't visited anyone's page as much lately. I just have so much to do that my time online needs to be limited. In the coming weeks, I hope to visit more often and leave comments.

I wanna take this time to tell you how special and wonderful Michelle has been to me and continues to be even moreso with each moment. She is so loving, so sincere and so beautiful in too many ways to describe. She is always very supportive of my efforts, always willing to lend and ear, gives me ideas, and always sends me her sincere love and joy.

I admire her immensely for serving in the military and enduring heartaches upon heartaches, and daily hardships with courage. She is a strong woman, and has more strength than she may give herself credit for. She is generous to a fault, and gives w/ sincerity and concern for me. Every card she sends me, every single gift, is more precious than silver, gold or diamonds. They are priceless.

Michelle is too special to describe in mere words, but I want to say I Adore, Cherish, Appreciate and Love Her so much. Though we are separated by distance, our love is far more than just physical. It comes from the heart.

February Update...

After some changes, I have launched (or rather relaunched) my Official Website. There are still lots of work that need to be done and stuff added to it (including larger jpegs, new art, etc.), but all things will come in good time. Here is the link... [link]

Artist of the Month: There are some excellent photographers on dA, and Michael Helms is definitely one of them. He takes some very seductive (and for some on dA, very controversial ...) pictures. There's no controversy as far as I am concerned. I admire his use of color and lighting, and his eye for composition (...Oh, and not to forget the attractive ladies that model for him... ) And his journals always contain some insightful observations about life and experiences.

I would definitely like you to visit this fine artist's page, but if you are easily offended, kinda prudish and basically prone to whining about stuff, then DON'T visit! I just don't like hearin' negative comments about his work, period! Thankfully, there are not many...Please visit his gallery. I love his work and always look forward his new stuff ...

My wonderful honey Michelle ( remember her? ) gave me a bunch of beautiful surprises, like a NY-rican cap, custom-made labels, a book to help me learn more about the web and html design, a sweet Borders gift card, a cool Heavy Metal 2008 Fantasy Calendar, cocoa and chocolates (to get me fat )! Most of all, she gave me the gift of her precious love, and I am eternally grateful and love her so much! Michelle, bella, my love, Mi Querida...Thank U w/ all my heart...! Te amo tantisimo... Now come and gimme a kiss... ! More on my love and I soon. With God's good graces, we hope to make our lives together official in 2008. We could use all your prayers and show of support & love...

I also go lotsa cool stuff from my brother (like portable, adjustable spotlights (so I can work w/ my new camera w/ interesting shots...) my nieces, my mom... I am so lucky ! I love them so much...

Btw, keep in mind traditionally the holidays don't official end 'til AFTER the New Year ! Most Latin countries celebrate what is called "Dia de Los Reyes" on January 6th, commemorating the day the Three Kings arrived to see the baby Jesus in the manger. Gifts are given then, too! So let's keep the celebration, the music, the fun and the love goin', people!

Update: my darling Michelle and I are still going strong ! Due to work schedules and other minor complications, we have had to temporarily delay spending more quality time together , but like the old saying goes "Distance makes the heart grow fonder" ! Despite, so much going on these days 4 both of us, our comittment, dedication, loyalty and love for one another hasn't diminished one bit. In fact, it is getting stronger! It is hard for some people to understand, but our bond and connection is deeper than most realtionships. There is a love and intimacy of the soul that can't be measured, and we have it. No one ever said it was gonna be easy, but our comittment and dedication to each other far outweighs all the obstacles.
