Original Size: approximately 14 1/4" x 21 1/4 " Medium: Acrylics
After a long while in self-imposed exile, I finally uploaded something new! This piece is portrait of a dark elf lord, with inspiration from the "Elric" series by Michael Moorcook. I took this picture with my new digital camera, which I am still learning to use (but havin' fun figuring it all out!)
I like depicting my elves as vicous mutha f--kas and not the typical wispy, 'waif-type' look that many have. No--elves are NOT always friendly types (He is more like the elves depicted in LOTR-ready for battle). They are mysterious, tough and don't play games!
I will upload a better pic as soon as I learn how to work all the little buttons on my camera and get the lighting right. But this is a 'dark' work, so this is true to it's inherent look. Hope you like it.
