Darth Vader Redux

There is little doubt that, thanks to George Lucas's "Star Wars" saga, it inspired generations of artists, filmmakers, programmers, & writers. The original designs for the films were far ahead of their time, and to this day STILL inspire awe and admiration ! One such character that captured the imagination is the dark lord Darth Vader.

This was a quick piece I did. I was simpy toyin' w/ the idea of revising his helmet design. Being a fan of the original trilogy, there is little need to mess w/ sheer perfection, but I figured "What the heck...? Why not?" I hope fans can forgive me for indulging!

btw, w/o the original design, I couldn't 'revise' it, so simply put---I love the original and this is just my way of saying "WOW!" to the artist's who came up with the Darth Vader design !
