This is a quick, preliminary color sketch for a fell beast head design I'm working on. It is only one of many that I've done so far, and hopefully I'll post some more later. With this piece, I tried to get away from the traditional dragon look, and made it more bird-like, but other designs I'm doing do include variations on dragons. By the way, it doesn't mean the final piece will use this specific creature design, but I thought some people might be interested to see some ideas I'm playing with.
